The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has recently issued notification of summer vacations in all educational institutions in Islamabad. According to the notification, all FDE educational institutions will be closed for summer vacation 2022 from 06 June 2022 to 31 July 2022. However, this summer vacation schedule at FDE is for students only. Schools and colleges will open on August 1, 2022 for the next academic session 2022-23 after the summer holidays.
However, the FDE instructed the heads of all agencies to use the summer vacations to organize the following activities in all agencies.
- Admission as per schedule issued
- Physical verification of stock / stock checking
- Repair / maintenance of building / furniture / playground
However, the heads of the organizations can add the required number of staff (if required) to organize the said work.
The FDE also directed the heads and management staff to adhere to the official timing. With this, undergraduate classes (BS and ADP) will start as per schedule.
