Prime Minister Imran on Wednesday launched the program to help deserving families pay for their children’s primary, secondary and higher education expenses.
Ehsaas Education Wazif will be implemented across the country, in all regions. Following the Ehsaas Wazifa policy, which advocates greater financial support for female students than male students, the initiative was designed to reflect this preference.
Under the Ehsaas Education Wazifa Program, elementary school boys will get a scholarship of Rs.1500 per quarter and elementary school girls will get a scholarship of Rs.2000 per quarter. High school boys will get a scholarship of Rs 2,500 per quarter and high school girls Rs 3,000 per quarter.

Eligibility Criteria for Ehsaas Education Scholarships
01: Families who are eligible for Ehsaas Kafalat through Ehsaas Survey, whose children are studying in Class 12 to 12 between the ages of 4 to 22 years, can enroll in education scholarships.
02: The academic scholarship program can include students from government schools and colleges as well as private schools and colleges that are approved by the Department of Education.
03: Payment of quarterly stipend to eligible students in Ehsaas Education Scholarships is subject to 70% attendance in their school or college.
04: Payments are made to mothers of children through Asha’s digital payment system based on thumb print verification.
