Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) Islamabad has announced MBBS and BDS admissions for 2022-23 for public sector institutions. The announced admissions are for government medical and dental colleges under federal administration. So, those who have cleared MDCAT 2022 can apply for MBBS/BDS degree. Registration for admissions through SZABMU has started. Therefore, eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the university website. The last date for submission of MBBS/BDS admission is 15 December 2022.

- Federal Medical College, Islamabad (100 Seats)
- Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Medical and Dental College Lahore (100 Seats)
Dental Colleges
- School of Dentistry, Islamabad (50 Seats)
Eligibility Criteria for SZABMU MBBS/BDS Admissions
- Candidates should have minimum 60% marks in HSSC Pre-Medical.
- 55% marks in MDCAT for MBBS admissions and 45% for BDS admissions
- Repeat candidates who have cleared MDCAT 2021 and have pass certificate with 65% marks can also apply for MBBS/BDS admissions.
Determination of MBBS/BDS Merit in SZABMU
For SZABMU MBBS/BDS admissions, the University will follow this weightage formula for merit calculation.

- SSC 10%
- MDCAT Entry Test 50%
