The cold layer of winter has started across Pakistan. Due to which the smog situation in the province is also increasing with each passing day. In this regard, the Lahore High Court expressed the serious situation in Punjab and said that the government has failed to control the smog in the province. Due to smog in Punjab, Lahore High Court announced three holidays in all public and private schools and colleges of the province. Besides, the bench also decided on the work from home strategy for all government and private organizations of the province. The LHC considered measures to prevent citizens from falling victim to smog-related diseases.
