We have brought an amazing news for the students of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Secretariat Higher Education, Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Nomination Board has announced the admission of Kashmiri students in Pakistani University on AJK Quota 2022. To that end, they Reserved seats in Pakistani vocational institutes, colleges and engineering universities for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 1947 refugees, and 1989 refugees. Azad Jammu and Kashmir students who wish to apply through the Nomination Board are informed to apply online for admission directly on the websites of the respective universities. This is mandatory for all the candidates otherwise the candidates will not be eligible for nomination in the respective universities.
Most of the candidates want to apply for civil engineering seat in UET Peshawar. For such students, UET Peshawar is informed that after receiving the nomination letter on merit from the Nomination Board, UET Peshawar will re-merit on the basis of merit cum choice among the nominated students of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, GB, and Army Quota. Will give final shape. If the candidate does not fall within their merit for the civil engineering seat, the university will allow the student to take any other technology of the student’s choice other than civil technology. All students are requested to enter their marks as per the policy otherwise their forms will be rejected.

How to Apply for Kashmiri Students Seats in Pakistani Institutions on AJK Quota:-
- The applicant has to clear the entrance test if the institution in which he wants to take admission in the particular seats requires it.
- The application processing fee for all courses is PKR: 1500/-, while a fee of PKR: 2000/- will be charged for self-finance seats.
- Application fee can be submitted in the name of Secretary Nomination Board AJK A/C# 197-8 NBP Old Secretariat (Branch Code 0660) Muzaffarabad. Application fee can be submitted online from any branch of National Bank of Pakistan.
- Incomplete, out of date, and applications without all required documents will be rejected.
- Last date for submission of applications is -10 September 2022.
