Announcing the quota for admission in undeveloped areas of Punjab, Usman Bazdar spoke on development. He said that this quota would create new jobs in the regions and also provide health facilities to these areas. He further said that Punjab government was making all possible efforts to provide the best healthcare facilities to the citizens.

In addition to the 20% admission quota, Usman Bazdar also announced a package of Rs. 2.5 billion for nursing colleges in the districts of Punjab. Thus, now through the 20% admission quota, candidates who are not able to get an education will have the opportunity to provide services to their people. This step has given a chance to remote areas for better development.
