Allama Iqbal Open University conducted an online meeting with the Regional Directors to discuss the problems of the students in that particular region. Around 54 Regional Directors participated in the meeting through video conference link. After consultation with all Regional Directors, AIOU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood decided to introduce Bridging Semester from Spring Semester 2023. Students can enroll in the fifth semester after completing any associate degree or two-year graduate degree program. . VC, AIOU, and Prof. Dr Nasir Mehmood said that our main mission is to increase literacy. He also appreciated the efforts of former Vice Chancellor Dr. Zia Al Qayyum. He played an important role in providing quality education and providing all possible facilities to the students.
