Department of School Education and Literacy has issued notification for upgradation of primary school teachers. The current pay scale of PST jobs is BPS-07 to BPS-09. It has now been decided to upgrade the pay scale after discussions with the School Education and Literacy Department. After approval from Chief Minister Sindh, Primary School Teachers (BS-07/09) have now been upgraded to BS-14 with effect from 14.07.2022 (date of summary approval), as per the recommendations of the Scrutiny Committee. Conditional. Constituted vide Notification No. SO-III (SGA&CD)13-123/2022 dated 22nd July 2022. The upgraded PSTs will remain senior to the newly posted PSts, irrespective of the date of appointment of new teachers and upgradation of senior teachers.
Sindh government has taken a big step for government employees. Medical Allowance will remain the same as from BPS-01 to BPS-15 the rate of Medical Allowance is Rs. 1500/- per month. Reduction of Disparity Allowance, Ad Hoc Relief Allowance 2022 will also remain unchanged as mentioned in Revised Pay Scales 2022 Sindh. Upgrading employees will also get more TA/DA.
