University of Karachi introduced BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics program in its subjects. The purpose of including this course is to address the issues of food security, poverty, unhealthy diet, and hunger arising from the situation of covid-19 and floods. By incorporating this course, they will be able to control the number of diabetics, heart diseases, lack of physical activity, unhealthy diet and lifestyle in the country.
