The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board has released the latest notification regarding the teaching of the Holy Quran. In the latest press release, all schools are reported to teach Tarjamat al-Qur’an Majeed from grades 9 to 11. The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook also issued a letter to the Director of Public Instruction (Colleges). Not only this, but he also released the schedule for teaching the Holy Quran from class 1 to 12. This year, the School Education Department made it mandatory to start teaching the Holy Quran in all schools and colleges. The Punjab government included the Holy Quran as a subject in the education system. Ordered to include the subject of Holy Quran not only for senior classes but also in primary classes.
