Punjab University Ashura Holidays 2022
Punjab University Lahore has issued notification for Ashura holidays. According to the notice, the university will remain closed on August 8 and 9, 2022 due to Ashura. Ashura represents the 9th and 10th of the Islamic month, Muharram. This year the Ashura holidays will fall on August 8 and 9 (Monday and Tuesday) 2022. The dates change every year due to the moon. As with the Islamic months, the dates and durations depend on the sighting of the moon.
After the Ashura holidays, the university will resume its activities as usual. However, we have uploaded the official notification regarding Ashura Holidays 2022 to Punjab University.
