The KPK Finance Department has issued a notification regarding revised basic salaries and allowances for provincial government employees in 2022. According to the notice, the revised pay scales and allowances for all government employees will be applicable from July 1, 2022. However, below is a description of KP’s basic salary scale and allowances and the conditions under which the government has revised them.
KPK Revised Basic Salary Scale 2022
The KP government has changed the Basic Salary Scales-2017 from July 01, 2022 to the Basic Salary Scales-2022.

On December 1, with the current conditions, the annual increase will be acceptable.
KPK Revised Allowances 2022
The KPK government has revised the following allowances for provincial government employees for 2022.
- Ad Hoc Relief Allowances
- Special salaries and allowances
With the introduction of ad hoc relief allowances in 2022, the provincial government has discontinued all ad hoc allowance grants in 2016-2019 and 2021.
- KPK employees will receive 15% Ad Hoc Relief Allowance 2022 on basic pay scale-2017.
- New entrants will receive ad hoc allowances 2022 on rational basis at 15% of the relevant basic salary of BPS-2017 from 01 July 2022.
- Income tax will be levied on ad hoc relief allowances.
- Allowances will be accepted during the entire leave and LPR period.
- Ad hoc relief will be acceptable during the suspension period.
