Allama Iqbal Open University has come up with an excellent scheme for students with disabilities. As per the details, we are happy to announce that AIOU has opened the door for its application for PM Electric Wheelchair Scheme. The Prime Minister initiated the initiative to help and encourage students with disabilities by providing them with electric wheelchairs. Such students will have the opportunity to enroll in AIOU in the semester of 2021 and spring semester of 2022. Eligible candidates must submit applications before July 18, 2022.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan took the initiative to provide electric wheelchairs to students with disabilities in reputable institutions recognized by the HEC. The new Prime Minister has continued this scheme and has also decided to provide wheelchairs to the disabled candidates.
How to apply for AIOU PM Electric Wheelchair Scheme 2022: –
- The required documents including CNIC and Disability Certificate must be submitted along with the application form and sent to the Director, Student Affairs, Directorate of SA&CS, Block 25 / Gateway Block, Ground Floor, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad.
- Fill out the application form correctly.
- An incomplete request will not be considered.
