Increase in salaries of Sindh in Budget 2022023
Recently, the Sindh government had announced an increase in the salaries of provincial government employees during the 2022-23 budget. According to the news Sindh government increased salaries by 15% and pensions by 55%. Chief Minister Sindh presented Sindh budget.
He said that the ad hoc relief of last 05 years (2016-2021) was amalgamated and revised pay scale 2022 for civil Sindh employees has been modeled on the federal government. However, the government proposed 15% ad hoc relief on the scale of basic pay for government employees from July 1, 2022.
At the same time, the Sindh government also announced allowances at the rate of 33% of basic salary for government employees of BPS 01-16. While for BPS-17 and above, DRA will be on 30% of basic salary.
Regarding pensions, the Sindh Chief Minister said that from July 1, 2022, pensions would be increased by 5%.
