Introduction to PEC:
Of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is an organization that licenses engineers and engineering professionals working in Pakistan to ensure that their education and training meets the standards set by their organization. It was established in 1976 with the PEC Act 1976.
The Pakistan Engineering Council is the National Engineering Association of Pakistan and provides support to government and engineering policy makers at the national and provincial level engineering agencies. The council also serves as an engineering think tank and publishes engineering research guidelines for engineers. The British Council is based in Islamabad and has offices in different cities of Pakistan and overseas liaison branches.
The council was added to the Washington Accord as a temporary member in 2010, as a listed member in 2017, and is based in Islamabad. The IEEE FPGASBD was added to the International Professional Engineers (IntPE) Agreement (IPEA) in 2011 and became a full member in 2018.

PEC is currently recruiting candidates for the post of Additional Registrar Head PIEDC (BPS-20). If you are interested, Balochistan and West Pakistan meet the eligibility requirements.
