KPK Education Card 2022
Recently, the KP government announced the introduction of education cards for talented students to pursue higher education. The government discussed student education cards during the 2022-23 budget speech. During his speech for the fiscal year 2022-23, Finance Minister Timur Jhagra said that we will introduce education cards for the promising candidates of the province. However, the education card is similar to the health card.
During the briefing regarding education cards, the Minister said that the government has allocated Rs. 1 billion for education cards. Thus, talented and deserving students will study on scholarships in top national universities.
In addition, the KP government provides a grant of Rs. 1 billion for teacher recruitment and Rs. 1 billion for evening shift schools. In addition, the provincial government has set aside a budget of Rs. 2 billion for the purchase of school and college furniture. However, the government has allocated Rs 2.4 billion for female students.
