The Government of Pakistan has set a budget of Rs. 28 billion for the 14 million needy and deserving people of Pakistan. Thus, 8 million registered families and 6 million families earning less than Rs. 40,000 per month are eligible for BISP program. Eligibility Criteria for Cheap Petrol Scheme 2022
Citizens of Pakistan who meet the following criteria are eligible for Sata Petrol / Sasta Diesel Scheme 2022.
- Registered Applicants for Benazir Income Support Program (BISP)
- Applicants whose monthly income is less than Rs. 40,000 / -.
- Only one member of the family is eligible.
- Married / widowed women will be preferred.
- Eligible men can apply if there is no married or widowed woman in the family.
How to apply for Cheap Petrol Scheme 2022.
- Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria (mentioned above) will send an SMS to their CNIC number 789.
- Applicants will receive a payment confirmation message from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
- Upon receipt of SMS, eligible candidates will get a subsidy of Rs.2000 / – through HBL (Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan) and Bank Al-Falah (KPK, GB, and AJK candidates).
