This week, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore is conducting annual matriculation examinations. As a result of disqualification in BISE Lahore, a maths paper was leaked in an examination center.
According to reports, the English test of 10th class was to be held tomorrow. However, the supervisory staff gave the students a math test instead of English. Initially, the final math test was scheduled for May 14.

BISE Lahore took action immediately after the officials in charge of inspection found fault. BISE Lahore also conducted English test at uncertified time, and the test started after a delay of about one hour.
On the other hand, parents and students have expressed serious concerns over the ability of BISE Lahore to conduct its annual examinations with full transparency.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) has been informed about the mistake made by BISE Lahore. In this regard, Secretary HED Punjab has also sought a report from Chairman BISE Lahore.
Secretary HED Punjab has ensured a transparent investigation into the matter and said that the department would take stern action against those found guilty of gross negligence.
