Due to the extreme heat, the federal government has announced summer vacations for the first to fifth grades for the 2022 session. Heatwave is growing rapidly across Pakistan. Therefore, the Federal Directorate of Education has ordered the closure of all private and government schools in grades 1 to 5. According to the notification, there will be no classes from pre-primary to fifth grade till the beginning of next academic year. Not only that, but they also closed Montessori classes from May 16.
It is also pertinent to mention that the FDE has revised the examination time with immediate effect and will observe from 8:00 am to 11:00 am for the remaining ongoing examinations.
