KPK Insaf will issue food cards.
Recently, the KP government announced the launch of Insaf Food Cards for deserving citizens of the province. Eligible candidates will receive subsidized food items through Food Card. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in a meeting approved the Justice Card for the citizens.
According to details, the government will spend Rs 25.92 billion on this scheme. In addition, deserving citizens of the province will get Rs. 2100 / – per month. An estimated 5 million people will benefit from the Insaf Food Card scheme.
There is also information that the KP government will use the existing data from the Ehsas program to identify deserving candidates. Thus, on the data of this awareness program for citizens, the government will select candidates for justice food cards.
At the same time, the KP government has also signed an agreement with Bank of Khyber (BOK) to issue Insaf Food Cards on a model similar to ATM cards. However, these cards will be applicable from the coming financial year.
