PMC House Job Induction 2022
Pakistan Medical Commission has issued a notification regarding House Job Induction 2022. In the notice, the PMC directed all teaching hospitals to obtain PMC accreditation and registration for offering house job programs. - Teaching hospitals registered with medical and dental colleges have been given temporary approval in Phase I on the basis of existing records. However, non-affiliated hospitals starting postgraduate programs will get accreditation. Accreditation will depend on the existing record of bed power verification by the provincial government.
- In Phase II, temporarily recognized hospitals must submit the required data within three months. Then, after the start, they will get full accreditation and registration.
- Any hospital that wants to start a house job program in full or in partnership with other hospitals can also apply. The Commission will immediately inspect them for consideration of accreditation and registration.
- The Commission has informed the list of temporarily recognized hospitals affiliated with the registered colleges for house job programs.
- Teaching Hospital may include medical / dental graduates as house job officers with temporary license.
- The commission will soon release a list of hospitals that are offering house jobs but are not affiliated with colleges..
- Based on the declared resources, a teaching hospital may be recognized for MBBS and BDS (both) house job programs.
- There will be no unpaid or low paid domestic jobs. All Teaching Hospital House Job Officers will be paid stipend as per the notified salary of the Provincial Government.
- The House Job Officer will complete the house job from the added hospital without transferring it to other hospitals.
