Qualification criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation
- Age range: 18 to 25 years
- Domicile: KPK and Integrated Districts
- Height: 5 feet 7 inches for men
- Height: 5 feet 1 inch for women
- Chest: 33 to 34.5 for men only
- Physical test: 1.6 km in 7 minutes for men
- Running test: 1 km in 9 minutes for women
Criteria for Integrated Districts:
- Educational Qualification: Middle Pass
- Age range: 18 to 30 years

Test pattern:
- The written test, which is mostly based on the standard of matriculation syllabus, will consist of a paper with 100 marks and will be taken from Urdu, English, Islamic studies, general knowledge and mathematics.
- The minimum marks for the written test should be at least 40% of the total marks and each part should be qualified with 80%.
