Punjab School Education Department has issued notification for submission of educational certificates. According to the details, all of you are informed that the Department of School Education will expel Punjab Elementary School Teachers (BS-14) and Senior Elementary School Teachers (BS-15) from schools. They fire thousands of teachers because they fail to submit academic credentials, which require proof of qualifications required for the job. They expel about 2,500 teachers for not giving B.Ed degrees.

The Department of School Education placed these teachers on contract in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017. SED gives all private and public schools time to submit their B.Ed degree certificate before the Last Date. Only a few of them successfully submitted their certificates while the rest failed to do so. Therefore, the Punjab government fired such teachers. On the other hand, the contracts of thousands of elementary school teachers and senior elementary school teachers were extended after the submission of B.Ed degrees.
