Notification of Federal Government regarding office hours in Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan is about to begin next month. Therefore, the federal government issued a notification in this regard. According to details, the federal government has decided to reduce the workload during Ramadan. He suggested reducing the working hours of government offices during the holy month of Ramadan. In a recent meeting, a senior representative of the Establishment Division Cabinet Secretariat gave suggestions to Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding new office hours during Ramadan. In addition, the Ruwit Hilal Research Council (RHRC) has announced the dates of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan. According to the details, the first Ramadan will be on April 3, 2022 (Sunday).

After receiving suggestions from other members, they recommend working five hours a week (Monday to Friday) in government offices under the relevant federal divisions. However, the time is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will close on Friday at 1 p.m. Not only that, but the Establishment Division also said that government officials would be open six days a week between 10pm on Monday and Saturday from 10pm to 3pm and would be closed on Friday at 1pm.
